Lilliput dollhouse are sturdy and durable because they are constructed from solid pine moldings, 3/8" and 1/4" high quality, cabinet grade panels, and are assembled using nails and glue.  They are designed in 1" scale, so most miniature furniture and accessories fit perfectly.

Each Lilliput dollhouse is now available with your choice of exterior wall finish.  Choose either Smooth Plywood or Milled MDF exterior walls.  Our exclusive Milled finish has a 3/8" clapboard profile milled directly into the surface of the walls.  Milled walls provide the easiest and quickest way to assemble a dollhouse with clapboard siding because it's built-in and ready to paint.  MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is an economical, extra smooth & flat, splinter-free, and environmentally friendly material (it does not use old growth lumber).  Smooth Plywood kits that made Lilliput Dollhouses famous allow you to create a custom exterior finish.

Once the basic kit is built, the creative fun begins.  Expand your home with Lilliput wings.  If you purchase a smooth plywood kit, you can finish the exterior with any custom finish or our especially designed Siding & Shingle package.  Each Siding & Shingle pack features 1/8" thick, 1 1/2" tall, 3/8" Beaded Clapboard along with all the trim boards you will need
